During the late 60’s—90’s Tricia was a Fashion designer and Costumier. Her clothes were exported around the world, were sold in Biba London, and she became one of the original Punk / gothic designers!
In the 70's Tricia also went to Art College and this led her to opening her Will-o-Wisp designs theatrical and historical costumiers shop after moving to Norfolk in the early 80's. Here she also gained her Equity card and became star of stage and screen!
More recently Tricia has taught Art & Textiles in High school to KS3 & GCSE students, and Art & photography workshops to adults. Outside teaching, her interests are travel, photography, sculpture & textiles.
She is fascinated by Water and became interested in Whales some years ago. She has travelled to Iceland, Alaska, and the Arctic, whale watching, but it was on a trip to Vancouver where she saw Beluga whales that her interest led to her building a life size Beluga Tail Garden Sculpture!
Besides her Water Creature and Seascape photography she has also developed an abstract technique which she calls Graffito.
She leads workshops, runs catch-up sessions for GCSE students and runs Graffito walking workshops when the Xmas lights are up in Norwich!
Tricia has 3 degrees (sounds like a song coming on!) BSc (hon), BA and a Masters in Education. She is currently taking a Creative Art Degree to enhance her teaching.
Tricia lives in Norwich with her daughter.
